Nicholl Fellowship

The Nicholl Fellowship is an award given to the winners of a script writing contest run by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS, the people who do the Academy Awards!).

If you win, you get a big chunk of money and professional mentorship when you write your next script. You don't have to win to reap the rewards of this contest. I was a quarter finalist and, when the list of other quarter finalists made its way around Hollywood, I got calls from every major producer and agent in town!
